DAY 1 - Virginia Beach
P.M. Discover the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, Virginia’s largest aquarium featuring live animal habitats, hundreds of hands-on and interactive exhibits. The museum offers both on- and off-site program options, as well as outreach, where the museum comes to you. Whatever your grade level, the museum has a program to supplement your curriculum and enhance the student's experience. Solve a real-life mystery with one of many student programs. What is the "foreign" animal they collected with native species? How did it get to the Chesapeake Bay?
Also don’t miss the chance to experience a movie in the six- story- high IMAX 3- D Theatre. Movies run daily and allow 45 minutes per show.
Dinner

Walk the cobblestone streets of the historic Freemason district and downtown Norfolk to learn about our very own Sea Legends & Tales; on a special Nauticus walk.
Day 2 – Norfolk
A.M. Start off your day at Nauticus with one of many outreach programs. Students can enjoy the wonders of science with hands on educational programs. Programs are approximately 30 minutes in length and can accommodate 50 students. Nauticus is a fun and exciting interactive science and technology center. It features more than 150 exhibits including computer and video interactive films on a giant screen, exotic aquaria, touch pools, shark petting and national caliber traveling exhibits.
Then tour the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and the decks of the USS Wisconsin, one of the last and largest battleships built by the US Navy. Stand beneath her 16- inch guns and feel the excitement of being aboard a historic warship.Lunch
Enjoy a pizza buffet at CiCi's PizzaP.M. Get up close and personal with the animals at the Virginia Zoo. Add an educational program and learn a little more about the animals that make Virginia home.
Dinner
Take a two hour cruise aboard the American Rover Tall Ship Cruise or Victory Rover Naval Base Cruise. While aboard have a pizza party complete with DJ, dancing, and of course, plenty of fun.
Day 3 –Hampton & Portsmouth
A.M. Depart for the Virginia Air and Space Center. Trace the history of flight from its inception and learn about the future of our nation’s space programs through interactive hands-on exhibits. Student programs are available. Aero Zone is a hands-on laboratory experience where students prepare for a cross-country flight that will take them on a tour of various NASA research centers or students can research weather conditions using the Center's weather station, gather information for visits along the way, and work with a global positioning system and amateur radio sty.
Lunch
Enjoy a boxed lunch at the Virginia Air and Space Center.P.M. Take a nostalgic spin on the Hampton Carousel, hand-carved and painted by Italian and German immigrants in the 1920s.
P.M. Tour the Portsmouth Sports Hall of Fame.
Dinner
A destination for fun and food at Jillian’s, is a students dream come true! Have pizza, hot dogs or hamburgers. Students will enjoy the Amazing Game Café with the newest simulation games or virtual bowling.
Day 4 – Newport News
A.M. On the way home, make a stop at the Virginia Living Museum and see animals outside and in, and learn about the stars in the planetarium. (Educational programs and available for students).
