Sit dockside and sample some of the local bounty at one of the waterfront eateries, where you can enjoy your meal, and the view.
This same shoreline also serves as the origination point for several cruise lines, with destinations to the Caribbean and the warmer waters of the south.
There’s also whale and dolphin watching, kayaking on the Great Dismal Swamp, or spend a lazy afternoon on the Carrie B, our 19th century replica Mississippi Paddlewheeler.
